With a goal of improving the housing stock in Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency was created in 1975 as a non-profit, tax-exempt entity when Governor David Boren approved the agency's first trust indenture. In 1976, OHFA opened its doors with 12 district field agents hired to implement a rental assistance program.
For more than 40 years, OHFA has created and implemented rental, home buying, and housing development programs for Oklahomans across the state. Our support of Oklahomans and their families helps create and encourage affordable living opportunities to grow a vibrant state.
Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency's programs touch Oklahomans from all walks of life. If your group or business would like to learn more about OHFA or a specific program offering, please let us know by emailing [email protected].
