Families whose homes were destroyed during the recent wildfires may apply for a grant through Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Richard S. Lillard Emergency Housing Assistance Fund. Affected families may apply for a grant of up to $1,500. Eligible uses for this grant include payment of one month’s rent, rental deposits, utility deposits, and hotel accommodations. Funds will be paid directly to the housing, hotel or utility provider.
OHFA staff members are taking applications for assistance at the Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) in the following locations:
April 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Taloga Fair Grounds/Dewey County OSU Extension Center, 111 Sexton St., Taloga
April 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Woodward Conference Center, 3401 Centennial Ln., Woodward

Applicants should bring proof of Red Cross referral, identification identification and contact information for the entity that will be providing the housing, hotel stay or utility service to the applicant.
OHFA has allocated up to $500,000 to be used during this fiscal year for disaster assistance. Funds are available for an Oklahoma disaster receiving a federal declaration or declared a state of emergency by the Governor of Oklahoma where a minimum of 25 families are impacted.
