OKLAHOMA CITY—At its July 24 meeting, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees voted to award HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants that will lead to an increase in available housing options in their respective communities.
Approvals for HOME Investment Partnerships Program Grants
- Building New Foundations, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family homes in Tulsa County, outside of the Tulsa city limits
- Community Action Agency of Oklahoma City and Oklahoma/Canadian Counties, Inc. - down payment assistance for 15 homebuyers
- Community Housing Partners Organization, Inc, - acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family rental homes in Canadian County
In addition to grants to create affordable housing, these entities also received Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) operating awards.
- Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma, LLC - acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family rental homes in Cleveland County, outside of the Norman city limits
- Native American Housing Services, Inc. (NAHSI) - new construction of two homes for purchase in Midwest City
- Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of three single family rental homes in Okmulgee
- Oklahoma City Housing Services Redevelopment Corporation - new construction of two homes for purchase in Guthrie
