Trustees Approve First-Ever Housing Stability Program Awards

OKLAHOMA CITY—At its May 15 meeting, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees voted to award the first Oklahoma Housing Stability Program (HSP) allocations. HSP provides 0% interest construction loans for the new construction of single-family homes and multifamily rental housing.

Awards in the Oklahoma Homebuilder Program will be utilized for the construction of single-family homes for purchase. The Oklahoma State Legislature has allocated $100.7 million for this purpose. Trustees awarded nearly $15.5 million during this round.

  • Desert Ridge Investments, Inc. and Express Development, Inc. will build 20 homes known as Lindenwoods Single Family Development on vacant land near N. 1st Ave. and Lindenwoods Dr. in Durant
  • Tivoli Homes, LLC will build 22 homes known as The Courts at Montevino near S. 13th St. and W. Overstreet Ave.in Kingfisher
  • PJSOZ1, LLC will build 25 homes known as the Parks Addition to Seminole, 900 Elm St., Seminole
  • Green Companies Development Group, Inc. will build five homes known as Tallgrass Ridge Estates in Tahlequah and Dewey
  • LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. will build five homes in Hugo
  • Silva Development, LLC will build five homes in northeast Oklahoma City

Awards in the Oklahoma Increased Housing Program will be utilized for the new construction of single and multifamily rental homes. The Oklahoma State Legislature allocated $63.55 million for this purpose. Trustees awarded nearly $7.9 million. Awardees include:

  • Creekside of Ardmore, LLC will build 30 single family units known as Creekside III, 260 Sunset Dr., Northwest, in Ardmore
  • PJSOZ1, LLC will build 35 single family units known as The Austin at 1125 Clausing Blvd. in Seminole
  • Silva Development, LLC will build 10 multifamily units known as Tuttle Homes, LLC, located east of Mustang Rd. and west of Jentry Dr. in Tuttle

Future allocations for the program will be made at each of OHFA's remaining board meetings. An online application training session will be held June 19 at 2 p.m.
