Trustees Approve HOME-ARP and HOME Awards

OKLAHOMA CITY—At its Nov. 20 meeting, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees voted to award HOME Investment Partnerships Program American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) grants. This program provides housing and supportive services to at-risk individuals, including those who are experiencing homelessness.

Organizations Receiving HOME-ARP Grants for New construction and Supportive Services

  • Day of Hope, Inc. - new construction of 40 rental units in Tulsa, Tulsa County
  • Jamie R. Wright, LLC - new construction of five rental units in McAlester, Pittsburg County

Organizations Receiving HOME-ARP Grants for Supportive Services

  • A New Leaf, Inc. - Tulsa, Wagoner, and Rogers Counties
  • City Cares - Oklahoma County
  • Community Development Support Association - Enid, Garfield County
  • Gatesway Foundation - Tulsa County
  • Jesus House - Oklahoma County
  • Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) - Oklahoma County
  • The Homeless Alliance - Oklahoma, Canadian, and Cleveland Counties

Trustees also voted to award HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants that will lead to an increase in available housing options in their prospective communities.

Approvals for HOME Investment Partnerships Program Grants

  • CHPO, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family rental homes in Oklahoma County
  • Housing for Communities, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family homes for homebuyers in Oklahoma County
  • South Central Housing - new construction of two single family rental homes in Pottawatomie County
