Trustees Approve First HOME-ARP, HOME, and Trust Fund Awards

OKLAHOMA CITY—At its Sept. 18 meeting, the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Board of Trustees voted to award its first-ever HOME Investment Partnerships American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) grants. This program provides housing and supportive services to at-risk individuals, including those who are experiencing homelessness. Organizations receiving grants include:

  • Under God's Care, Inc. - new construction of eight rental units and supportive services in Spiro, LeFlore County
  • The Hope Center - supportive services in Woodward, Woodward County

Approvals for HOME Investment Partnerships Program Grants

OHFA trustees also awarded HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants that will lead to an increase in available housing options in their respective communities. Awardees include

  • Community Housing Partners Organization, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of two rental homes in Canadian County; Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) operating grant
  • Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc. - new construction of two rental homes in Okmulgee, Okmulgee County
  • Housing for Communities, Inc. - acquisition and rehabilitation of two homes for buyers in Canadian County
  • Magnolia Ridge III, LLC - new construction of seven single-family rental homes in Stillwater, Payne County
  • NAHSI. Inc. - new construction of two homes for buyers in Harrah, Oklahoma County
  • Wildwood III, LLC - new construction of four single-family rental homes in Sayre, Beckham County

Approvals for National Housing Trust Fund Loans

The National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) increases and preserves the supply of affordable housing. Individuals who are low and very low-income, including homeless families, benefit from NHTF developments. Entities receiving loan awards at this meeting include:

  • Magnolia Ridge III, LLC - new construction of four multifamily units in Stillwater, Payne County
  • Eden Village of Tulsa will build 18 new single-family rental homes in Tulsa, Tulsa County
  • The Villages at a New Leaf Phase II, LP will build six new multifamily rental units in Owasso, Tulsa County
  • The Landing @36N, LP will build three new multifamily rental units in Tulsa, Tulsa County
