After years of renting, Monica purchased her first home earlier this year. She utilized the help of OHFA Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance to make it happen.
“I love being able to have a place I can call my own, it’s so rewarding being able to call myself a homeowner,” she said.
Though previous owners had renovated the home, Monica added touches to make the home her own. She converted a spare bedroom into a home gym. Her dog, Baxter, enjoys running around the home’s large backyard.
“I love the space, it’s perfect for me. I’m enjoying the journey, learning how to be a homeowner.”
